Refund Policy

Understanding Our Refund Process

1. Introduction

This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions for refunds of payments made to TechHub Hungary for our premium content subscriptions, sponsored content services, advertising packages, or any other paid services we offer.

We strive to provide high-quality services to all our customers. However, we understand that there may be circumstances where a refund might be appropriate. This policy is designed to provide clear information about when and how you can request a refund.

2. Refund Eligibility

2.1 Premium Content Subscriptions

For monthly or annual premium content subscriptions:

  • 14-Day Money-Back Guarantee: We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee for new subscribers. If you are not satisfied with our premium content, you may request a full refund within 14 days of your initial subscription purchase.
  • Cancellations After 14 Days: After the initial 14-day period, you may cancel your subscription at any time, but refunds will not be provided for the remainder of the billing period. Your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing cycle.
  • Annual Subscription Cancellations: For annual subscriptions canceled after the 14-day money-back period, we may provide a prorated refund at our discretion, minus a 15% administrative fee.

2.2 Advertising and Sponsored Content

For advertising packages and sponsored content services:

  • Before Publication/Deployment: If you cancel an advertising or sponsored content order before we have begun work on your campaign or content, we will provide a full refund.
  • After Work Has Begun: If you cancel after we have begun work but before publication/deployment, we may refund up to 50% of the payment, depending on the amount of work completed.
  • After Publication/Deployment: Once your advertising or sponsored content has been published or your campaign has been deployed, no refund will be provided unless there is a significant failure on our part to deliver the services as agreed.

2.3 Special Events and Webinars

For registrations to special events, webinars, or workshops:

  • Cancellations 14+ Days Before Event: Full refund minus a 5% processing fee.
  • Cancellations 7-13 Days Before Event: 50% refund.
  • Cancellations Less Than 7 Days Before Event: No refund, but you may transfer your registration to another person at no additional cost.
  • Event Cancellation by TechHub Hungary: If we cancel an event, we will provide a full refund to all registered participants.

3. Conditions for Refunds

Refunds may be issued under the following conditions:

  • Service Not Provided: If we fail to provide the service you have paid for within a reasonable timeframe.
  • Technical Issues: If persistent technical issues prevent you from accessing our premium content or services, and our support team cannot resolve these issues within a reasonable time.
  • Significant Discrepancy: If there is a significant discrepancy between the service described and what was delivered.
  • Duplicate Charges: If you were charged multiple times for the same service.
  • Unauthorized Charges: If charges were made to your account without your authorization.

Please note that dissatisfaction with content or services that were delivered as described does not automatically qualify for a refund outside of the initial 14-day money-back guarantee period for subscriptions.

4. Refund Process

4.1 How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact our customer support team at billing@techhubhungary.com with the subject line "Refund Request."
  2. Include the following information in your email:
    • Your full name
    • Email address used for the purchase
    • Date of purchase
    • Order or transaction ID (if available)
    • Reason for requesting a refund
    • Any relevant documentation or screenshots
  3. Our team will review your request and respond within 2-3 business days.
  4. If your refund is approved, we will process it according to the timeframes outlined below.

4.2 Refund Processing Time

Once a refund is approved, processing times are as follows:

  • Credit/Debit Card Payments: 5-10 business days for the refund to appear on your statement, depending on your card issuer's policies.
  • PayPal Payments: 3-5 business days.
  • Bank Transfers: 7-14 business days, depending on your bank's processing times.

Please note that while we process refunds promptly on our end, the time it takes for the funds to appear in your account depends on your payment provider's policies and procedures.

5. Exceptions to the Refund Policy

The following situations are not eligible for refunds:

  • Requests made outside of the specified refund periods outlined in Section 2.
  • Misuse of our services or violation of our Terms and Conditions.
  • Claims of dissatisfaction without specific details or evidence.
  • Issues caused by third-party services or platforms that we do not control.
  • Purchases made using promotional codes, gift cards, or special discount offers (unless required by law).

6. Special Circumstances

We recognize that special circumstances may arise that are not covered by this policy. In such cases, we may consider refund requests on a case-by-case basis. Please provide detailed information about your situation when contacting our support team.

Special circumstances might include:

  • Medical emergencies
  • Natural disasters
  • Significant personal hardships

Documentation may be required to support claims of special circumstances.

7. Changes to the Refund Policy

We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. It is your responsibility to review this policy periodically for changes. Your continued use of our services following the posting of changes constitutes your acceptance of such changes.
